NIMO CARE was pleased to join fellow humanitarian actors, including local and national NGOs, international organizations, and UN agencies, to commemorate World Humanitarian Day 2026 under the theme “Act for Humanity.”
The day brought together humanitarian actors for a sport walk from Bongo Square to PAID-Wa, musical performances, humanitarian games, and an exhibition of organizational work and achievements. A key highlight was the panel discussion on “Rethinking Safety and Access for Humanitarians in the NW/SW,” where NIMO CARE was proudly represented.
At our exhibition stand, NIMO CARE showcased the My Safety Box initiative, which supports girls to remain in school during unexpected menstrual periods, as well as learning materials and books used in our Temporary Learning Corner. Our work received positive feedback and encouraging remarks from participants.
The event provided a valuable platform for networking, experience sharing, learning, and strengthening collaboration among humanitarian actors.
