NIMO Care is honored to be participating in the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Case Management Training taking place from 24–28 June 2026 at Capitol Hotel.
Representing the organization is our CEO, Dr. Hedwig A. Ngwa. The training is organized and facilitated by TEENALIVE and WACAMEROON, with technical support from UNFPA, under the project titled “Eh Woman Eh! Wuna Place Dey.” The initiative is funded by the European Union, Cooperation Allemande (German Cooperation), BMZ, and GIZ, whose support continues to strengthen efforts aimed at preventing and responding to Gender-Based Violence and promoting the rights, protection, and empowerment of women and girls.
The first day of training focused on key foundational topics including: • Basic Gender Concepts • Power and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) • Consequences of GBV • Causes and Context of GBV
This training presents an important opportunity to strengthen knowledge and skills in survivor-centered case management, deepen understanding of gender dynamics, and enhance efforts to address and prevent GBV within our communities. NIMO Care remains committed to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and collaborative action that promotes the dignity, safety, and well-being of women and girls.
