Following the flooding in Limbe and the landslide in Kumba, NIMO CARE was part of the enunerators team that conducted field-level data collection in Limbe. Being on the ground provided firsthand insight into the severity of the situation, the needs of affected communities, and the experiences of victims.
Building on this experience and contextual understanding, NIMO CARE conducted a field visit to Down Beach, Limbe, to collect data on the impact of the flooding. The visit enabled the team to engage directly with affected community members, assess the situation, understand their immediate needs and priorities, and approach the response with greater empathy and context-specific understanding
