On 20 December, Nimo, as an implementing partner of Big Ocean Women, participated in a Christmas outreach visit to HOTPEC Orphanage and School, aimed at sharing warmth, dignity, and care in the true spirit of Christmas.
The outreach focused on education support, personal dignity, nutrition, and psychosocial well-being. Nimo distributed educational materials including clothes, school kits, dignity kits, Menstrual hygiene kits, toiletries and food items.
The intervention reached 84 children, comprising 85% girls and 25% boys. Beyond material support, the children were engaged in dance, singing, and artistic activities, creating a joyful and inclusive environment.
As part of strengthening bonding and shared experience, the Nimo team actively participated in the preparation of the communal meal, which was shared with the children, caregivers, workers, and staff present at the orphanage.

This moment of togetherness reinforced unity, compassion, and the Christmas message of love and giving. This activity formed part of Big Ocean Women’s Christmas Outreach, reaffirming a collective commitment to standing with vulnerable children and ensuring that no one is left out during the festive season.
