Nimo Care facilitated a focused boys’ engagement session with 25 male students at GHS Great Support as part of the 16 Days of Activism. The discussion centered on their responsibility in preventing violence, promoting respect, and becoming active allies in safeguarding girls and young women within the school environment.

The boys explored how harmful gender norms fuel violence and learned practical behaviors that model positive masculinity. Facilitators emphasized accountability, peer influence, and speaking up when witnessing abuse. The session equipped them with a clear understanding that ending gender-based violence requires their intentional participation and daily conduct.

Through interactive dialogue and scenario-based exercises, the boys reflected on real-life situations, identified healthier responses, and committed to supporting a school culture rooted in safety and dignity. The engagement strengthened their leadership potential and positioned them as partners in building a community where violence against girls and women is never tolerated.
